450 Bushmaster

Designed to be a "Thumper" in AR style rifles, the 450 Bushmaster has become the go to round for rifle hunters in restricted states.  Ruger lead the charge on chambering this round in popular, economical bolt action rifles and several other companies follow suit.  Effective range is generally 200 yards with some options reaching close to 300 yards.  High Velocity bullet weights range from 220-300 grains, with 250 being the most popular.  Subsonic bullets range from 395-425 or more to keep velocity under the 1,100 fps mark.  This round hits with authority on deer and has been used successfully on black bear and other species in short range situations.  For good reason, the Bushy is now a mainstay in several Midwestern states.  Our 450 Bushmaster ammunition comes in twenty (20) round boxes.
