The  AccuBond® -Long Range (LR) bullet line was developed in response to the  escalating demand from long-range hunters who were asking for a hunting  bullet that could keep up with today’s level of high-grade optics and  ultra-high velocity cartridges in order to stretch practical shooting  yardages past 1,000 yards; yet still perform on big-game animals. In  order to accommodate these extreme parameters, the AccuBond® -LR bullet  was designed to have a minimum impact velocity of 1300fps in order to  reliably expand or mushroom at those much longer distances, compared to  the 1800fps minimum impact velocity of all other Nosler® hunting  bullets.

Now what about close range performance? Because the lead core is  bonded to the copper jacket, the AccuBond®-LR bullet will hold up to  extreme velocities. To further assist performance at such a wide range  of impact velocities, the copper jacket is tapered, meaning it is thin  at the nose, becoming much thicker towards the boat-tail base.

This is an ideal bullet for long range as the name implies.  High BC helps retain energy and a softer skin helps ensure good mushrooms at longer distances when velocity is falling off down to an amazingly low 1,300 fps.  This is a bonded bullet, although the jacket is very thin.  Nosler recommends impacts below 3,000 fps which is perforct for the SAUM.  This round is designed to fit and function through standard short action magazines and will do well with custom seating depths on rifles with longer magazines.  This can easily be customized to your custom rifle build.  Seat depths of 2.820" wll fit thorough SAAMI spec short action rifles and we can seat this out to about 2.925" for rifles with modified magazines.  Please specify.

We measure each powder charge to within +/- .02 grains on our Autotrickler powder systems.  We seat each bullet with Redding competition seat dies on our Forster Co-Ax single stage press.   We load them one at a time!  Each round is hand measured for consistency and placed into our hard plastic, twenty count boxes.  Each box has a foam insert and neoprene strap to keep your rounds secure in the field.  This is loaded ammunition.
